News recently broke that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would be meeting Matt Hammil at UFC 130. Jackson was originally slated to face Thiago Silva, though a change in plans brought rumors of a rematch with Rashad Evans. MMABay reports however, that Jackson isn't thrilled with the Hammil match up and would rather a grudge match with Stephan Bonnar.
Speaking to a source close to the man from Memphis, Jackson is said to be less than impressed at the prospect of fighting Hamill and is unhappy at a number of comments Bonnar has made since his return to the octagon midway through 2010. Jackson therefore sees this as the perfect opportunity to make an example of Bonnar in front of millions of people.
It is still unknown at this point what will happen at UFC 130. As far as we know, Hammil is still set to be Jackson's opponent come May 28. UFC management, as well as Bonnar, have yet to issue a public response. Stay posted for more news when it becomes available!
