Following his rather lack luster performance against Jersey native, Frankie Edgar, most fans found themselves asking, "what's next" for the former champ. His previous struggles with conditioning were called back into question, his desire, his relevance in the current landscape of the division. I am of the opinion that styles do make fights, however, and I think that Frankie's style is such that it confounded BJ.
If I were to be hanging with BJ and his crew, I would be trying to convince The Prodigy to explore training at some top camps and see if there is a fit for him in a place like ATT or Greg Jackson's. Certainly BJ is worthy of being the top dog of his own school, but if he is going to keep up with the explosive evolution of fight techniques still going in MMA, then having outside perspectives to mold his training camp would probably make for vast improvement. BJ might need to allow himself to be the student once more if he is to reign supreme anew.
